Mbrascatu was formed in 2010 in Portland, Oregon by Italian singer-songwriter and guitar player Andrea Algieri. They recorded their debut album, Mbrascatu (self titled) in 2012, followed by Tempo 2014, Elementi 2016 and Tutto Cambia 2021. Mbrascatu style blends numerous influences, including spaghetti Westerns, immigrant dance music of Eastern Europe, psych rock, folk, to create a unique music style, they infuses modern indie music with a global flavor.

Coma_Cose announce a 2023 tour in the United States. The Milanese duo will perform on October 14 in Miami and on October 17 in Los Angeles. Coma_Cose is an Italian indie-pop, hip-hop musical duo formed in 2017 by Fausto Lama (Fausto Zanardelli) and California (Francesca Mesiano). Stay tuned for more dates and locations.

Tony Bennett, the internationally famous singer whose voice epitomized the American Songbook, has died. He was 96.
Anthony Dominick Benedetto died July 21, 2023 in New York City. He was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease in 2016, but his condition didn't stop him from occasionally performing live or releasing new music. He sold more than 50 million records worldwide and earned a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. His father, Giovanni, had emigrated from Calabria, Italy.

Maneskin are confirmed as the most listened to Italian artists in the world, but classics and electronic music still play an important role. Alongside the Roman band, there are still many classics and milestones of Euro dance who continue to be a certainty for Italian music abroad, with the Eiffel 65 still among the most listened to in the world.

Marco Mengoni wins Sanremo 2023. After five nights consisting of countless performances, notable acts, laughs and memories, Marco Mengoni has been crowned Sanremo winner with his song “Due vite”. The singer says the all-male final indicates "we still have a lot to do to change things in this country”.
